Returned

Well, it has been some time since my last post. I have been away on one of my work related jaunts. All I can really tell you is that I was in the Southern Hemisphere. Suffice it to say that I played my own small part in the spread of civilisation, delivered through the medium of British Engineering Skill.

I returned through London to find Blighty wearing her summer finery...everything is lush and green. Shakespeare put it best:-

"This royal throne of kings, this sceptred isle,
This earth of majesty, this seat of Mars,
This other Eden, demi-paradise,
This fortress built by Nature for herself
Against infection and the hand of war,
This happy breed of men, this little world,
This precious stone set in the silver sea,
Which serves it in the office of a wall
Or as a moat defensive to a house,
Against the envy of less happier lands,--
This blessed plot, this earth, this realm, this England..."

I can say no more or no better than that.
